Mr. Symonds was a dairy farmer in the state of New York where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Surviving Mr. Symonds is his wife of almost 57 years, Lorraine Symonds; his children, Neil Symonds (Charlene) and Delea Symonds; his grandchildren, Josh Symonds, Sara Symonds and Jeremy Motter, and ten great-grandchildren; his sisters Sharon Sawyer and Gail Hutcheon (Larry). In addition to his parents, he is preceded by a brother, Clifford Symonds.
Services for Mr. Symonds will be held privately.
The family suggests memorial contributions in James’ name should be directed to Heartland Hospice, 493 Blackwell Road, #319, Warrenton, Virginia.
