Janice “Jan” Barron Evans of Culpeper, VA passed away in Martha Jefferson Hospital Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Jan was born to Joseph L. Barron and Laura Williams Barron October 15, 1947 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was office manager of Culpeper Family Practice for many years and worked as a pharmacy tech at Safeway. Jan was a member of Mitchell’s Presbyterian Church. Most of all, she was always doing for others with a big heart.
Jan is survived by her husband Ron Evans; her son, Brad and his wife Rani; her sisters, Peggy Kyle and her husband Doug, Anna Lee Ord and Ruby Anderson. Also, there are many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home with Rev. John Grotz officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Mitchell’s Relay for Life Team in Jan’s memory.
