Katherine ‘Kim’ Baader-Kilby

Katherine Kimberly ‘Kim’ Estes Baader-Kilby, age 60, of Sperryville, Virginia passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, October 30, 2020. Kim was born February 1, 1960 to Charles K. “Pete” Estes and Betty Ann Lillard Estes in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Walter B. Kilby; her only son, Michael Joseph Baader II, his wife Andrea and their daughter, Madison; her brother Charles Kenneth “Ken” Estes, his wife Kelly and their children Ben and Julia; her sister Martha Susan Estes Ryan, her husband Mike and their daughter Kate. She is preceded in death by her loving parents and grandparents. Church services will take place at Sperryville United Methodist Church on Friday November 6th at 1:00pm EST. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety of others, church services will be with immediate family and by invitation only. However, we would like to invite all to join us at her graveside at Sperryville Cemetery at 2pm for outside services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Katherine's memory may be made to Sperryville Cemetery , Attn: Roger Jenkins, P.O. Box 33, Sperryville, VA 22740 US. The family will hold a celebration of life at a future date in Rappahannock.
