

Lorraine Doris Black, 81, of Culpeper, VA passed away in her home Saturday, February 16, 2013. Lorraine was born to Frederick “Fritz’ Neul and Lavinia Holland Neul in Trenton, NJ, December 21, 1931. Lorraine retired from UVA in the sports offices; enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and animal rescue missions. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and home.
Surviving Mrs. Black are her children, Rick Black and his wife Shelby of Manassas, VA and Lynne Hill and her husband Billy of Haywood, VA; her grandchildren, Pam Lemon and her husband Andy, Eric Black and his companion Stephanie, Ben Hill and his companion Lauren, Becky McLaughlin and her husband Josh, Cary Hill and his wife Amy, Pete and his fiancé Astleigh and her great-grandchildren, Christene, Tatum, Saige, Lilly, Josh, Shelby, Kurtis, Astoria, Krynn, Gavi, Gabe and Zeke. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Gerald Black.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3:00p.m.in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Norma Jean Fellows conducting the service. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. until service time.
