May Elizabeth Kirby

May Elizabeth Kirby, 85, of Culpeper, VA and formerly of Warrenton, VA passed away at Our Father’s House Christian Home in Culpeper where she received excellent care. Mrs. Kirby was born April 19, 1931 to Thomas William Grady and Mabel Brown Grady. Mrs. Kirby graduated from Culpeper County High School. She retired from Peeble’s Department Store in Warrenton.

Surviving Mrs. Kirby are her siblings Ray Grady and his wife Joyce, Shirley Grady and Fay Hatmaker; her nieces and nephews, Tom Grady, Andy Grady and his wife Tia, Michael Hatmaker, Greg Hatmaker and Christal Rudy and her great-nieces and great-nephews, John Rudy, William Grady, Casey Hatmaker, Ashlyn Edwards, Danielle Grady, Mallory Grady, Henely Edwards and Maggie Grady. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Kirby and her brother Doug Grady.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Raymond Bender conducting the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
