Mrs. Nancy Pierce Hudson

Nancy Pierce Hudson, 88, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away in Carriage Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center Sunday, May 8, 2011. Mrs. Hudson was born in Ashville, NC, to Clarence E. Pierce and Annie Arrington Pierce January 9, 1923. She retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank as a teller. She is the widow of Milton L. Hudson.

Surviving Mrs. Hudson are her children; Thomas Hudson of Spotsylvania, VA, Nancy D’Auria of Atlanta, GA, Peggy Eglehart of Florida, and Paula Nixon of Orange, VA; her siblings; Betty Eabor of Raliegh, NC and Joe Pierce of Tustin, CA. She has 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Pierce conducting the service. Interment will be in the Culpeper National Cemetery, U.S. Ave. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
