William Butler

William Harvey “Bucky” Butler, Sr., 73, passed away at his residence in Culpeper, VA, Sunday, March 18, 2012. Mr. Butler was born July 21, 1938, in Warrenton, VA to James Gilbert Butler and Evelyn Reynolds Butler; enjoyed fishing, hiking, shooting, gardening, the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and woodwork; he retired from the ABC Board store, after 35 plus years, as a manager in Warrenton.

Surviving Mr. Butler is his wife, Diane A. Butler of Culpeper, VA; his children, William H. Butler, Jr. of Fuquay -Varina, NC and Ellen Butler Beachy of Billerica, MA; his son-in-law, Steve Beachy of Billerica, MA; his grandchildren, Arron McKinley Beachey and Lauren Madison Beachey, and his brothers, James Gilbert Butler, Jr. of Fauquier County, VA and George Thomas Butler of Warrenton, VA. Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Kristin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 1: 00p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Norma Jean Fellows conducting the service. Interment will be in Warrenton Cemetery, Warrenton, VA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Clore-English Funeral Home.
