William T. Jenkins

WILLIAM T. JENKINS 12/13/1941 ~ 01/11/2021 William T. Jenkins was born December 13, 1941 to William N. Jenkins and his beloved wife Rosie L. Martin. He was the youngest in a large family. William fondly remembered his childhood surrounded by relatives and his favorite Border Collie. Drafting was his first interest, but he discovered his talent as a hairdresser. Owning and designing his own salons became one of his life’s passions. He studied under Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell in England and New York. After being in business for 40 plus years, his health started to deteriorate. He struggled on despite his poor health. His zest for life had been quenched by long hours and hard work. He passed away at his home on January 11, 2021 with his wife beside him. His love was always genuine and constant because of his faith in God. He was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery on 01/22/2021
