Daniel Lee Crump

He was diagnosed with stage four cancer, seven months earlier, in April 2017. Daniel is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his parents Linda Faye Islam and Nathan Lee Crump, his two sisters, Lucresha Faye Wells and Catina Renee Brown (Macy), his five children, Danny (Natasha), Lucresha Ann, Matthew, Amy, and Britny, along with seven grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Serenitybell IleanaMaree, Kyliegh Annabella Eraina, Claritybell Alexandria, Hannah, Milli’Caite LeJeana and unborn grandson Nolan Lane. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, Shalayah (Maurice) and Carmen, in addition to his nephew, Jackson, and great nieces, Makayla and Makenzie. Daniel was blessed enough to have a family whom welcomed him as their own and is survived by his mother Martha Navarro, brothers, Eleuterio (Andrea) and Christian, his sister, Maria, niece, Valentina, and nephew, Anthony.

Daniel was quite the collector, he held onto little gadgets with little to no value and cherished it like no other. It was the little things in life that mattered the most to him (this doesn’t mean he’s not also a shopaholic, because he is). Daniel also liked jokes, his all-time favorite one: “Do you want to hear a joke? Me too, tell me one.” For the past three years, Daniel was a proud employee at Lowes, located at the Midtown Shopping Center. Daniel was a hard worker and was very quick to make friends. During his free time, Daniel loved the outdoors, he would perform wheelie tricks on his RC cars, shoot at the archery park, skateboard, fly his remote-controlled airplane, clean his collection of knives, go fishing or camping.

A celebration in memory of Daniel will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury Funeral Directors 4220 Sepulveda Blvd Culver City, CA 90230 at 10 A.M. Following the viewing, friends and family are also invited to join us at Daniel’s favorite park, that he often referred to as the “duck pond”, Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Park to eat and dance in his honor.
