Donald Hugh MacDevitt passed away at the age of 65 on June 29th, 2012. Don was born to Hugh Joseph MacDevitt and Elizabeth Harriet Ross MacDevitt on May 7th, 1947 in Montreal, Canada. He has been a resident of Los Angeles for 46 years. Don recently retired after 25 years working as a Quality Assurance Specialist for TRW Northrop Grumen. Don received a special achievement in 1989, he was awarded the NASA Recognition Award for his contribution in the operational Phase of the Space Network. Don is preceded in death by both his parents and is survived by his loving family of numerous cousins in the United States and Canada. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 11:00 am at Culver City Presbyterian Church in Culver City. Don will be laid to rest at Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax, Canada.
