

Enrique Escobedo was born in Mexicali, Mexico on August 10th, 1932 to Gonzalo and Luisa Escobedo. Alone, he migrated to California at the age of 17 to fulfill the American dream. In his time here, he established himself and even founded his own company known as “E.E. Pino Landscaping & Maintenance”. He designed beautiful landscaping plans for many famous hotels, as well as the homes of many prestigious movie stars present in Hollywood’s golden era of film - Such as Donna Reid, George Burns, and Lucille Ball. For over 40 years, he worked for a well-known Beverly Hills judge and her beloved mother. He was the classic honest, loyal, and hardworking man as well as the king of billiards, a devoted husband to his loving wife “Hilda” of 63 years and a loving father to his son “Henry”, his daughters “Laura” and “Lourdes”, a grandfather/father to “Jason”, “Erick”, “Bernadette”, and “Michelle”. Also grandfather to, “Chris” & “Julian”. A great grandfather to 9 great-grandchildren, & his only great-great grandson “Vinny”. He was known to family as “Pipa” - a nickname given to him that stuck with him forever. He started a wonderful family that continues to grow to this day, and has made an impact on every person who had the pleasure of meeting him. He will forever be in our hearts till we meet again.
