

Mina is survived by her beloved family: son Jeffrey Taylor Elliott of Astoria, New York, daughter, Natalie Elizabeth Elliott of San Francisco, California, sister Laura Charn Beattie of Auckland, New Zealand, and former husband, Jay Jeffrey Elliott of Playa del Rey, California. Remaining to cherish Mina’s name are her supportive extended Morgan and Elliott family and loving friends.
Mina was born in 1962 in Sacramento, California. She grew up in Berkeley, California and graduated from Skyline High School in Oakland, California in 1980. She subsequently moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in English in 1984. Among other jobs, she worked as the office manager for Thomas & Elliott, where she would meet her future husband, Jay. They married in 1992 and welcomed Jeff into the world in 1994, Natalie in 1998 and adopted the family cat, Cauliflower in 2007.
Mina had a distinguished career in commercial real estate during which she worked at the J.H. Snyder Company and then at Kimco Realty Corporation for over ten years as Senior Director of Real Estate for the Western Region.
Mina had many passions and interests in life. First and foremost, she loved spending quality time with family and friends. Mina loved to travel and her favorite destinations included Hawaii and Lake Tahoe where she would vacation with her family regularly. Mina loved walking, movies, plays and being in the sun at the beach, where she got her iconic tan. She was an avid sports fan, particularly for her alma mater UCLA. She loved music and would get up to dance any time she heard Earth, Wind and Fire.
Mina is predeceased by her father, Val Charn, her mother, Marcia Morgan and her nephew, Zach Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th at Saint Anastasia’s Church in Los Angeles, California at 10:00 am followed by the funeral mass at 11:00am.
A private interment will follow.
Following the Mass, there will be a reception in the Diamond courtyard right outside the church.
