Paul Sommer, 67 left this earth on Saturday, September 27th to be with The Lord. Paul was born July 26, 1947 in New Jersey to Jerry and Susan Sommer. Paul grew up in Ocean City, New Jersey where he helped his dad out with his various businesses while growing up. He graduated from Ocean City High School in 1966. Paul suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of 23 and spent many months in rehabilitation. Paul spent most of his life with his parents, where he and his dad were well known around town selling and delivering various items. After the the death of his parents Paul moved to California where he could be near his sister. He has lived in California since 1998. His mother, father, and two brothers preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Susan Golleher of Redondo Beach, niece Lauren Hanlon, nephew Matthew Golleher, niece Stephanie Sideroff, sister-in-law Josie Sideroff, grand niece, Kelli Hanlon, and grand nephew, Connor Hanlon, and brother-in-law John Golleher. A graveside service will take place at a date to be announced at Seaside Cemetary, in Marmora, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Susan Golleher with checks made out to UC Regents, Dr Belperio, Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
