I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing and send my belated condolences to his family.  Bob gave me my first job as a paperboy for the Herald Examiner at age 7 in 1973. I shared our first contact in Burn Zones: Playing Life's Bad Hands when I chased him down on my bike to ask for the role. I appreciate that he was willing to give me the opportunity when I was so young. He sometimes accompanied me as I knocked on doors soliciting subscriptions: I was not great at this, but he was always helpful and supportive to help me improve. Now I am 58, but whenever I am asked a security question: "Who was your first boss?" I answer "Bob Snodgrass".

Our condolences to Charlotte and family, for their loss of their loved one Robert. It was a privilege to spend the time we had over the years. Roberts, brother, Ben, whom I’ve met when he  married, my sister was another wonderful man! he was always kind and considerate, and willing to help family no matter what. Made us feel at home when we came through the state and visited. I remember Robert‘s parents in Culver City when my sister took us to meet the family in 1976 our bicentennial trip. That’s the first time I met the Snodgrass family and they’ll always be in my heart forever. Again, sorry for your loss our prayers are with you love always Joey, Denise, Joey Jr, and Nicole .Nieto  

Condolences to Charlotte and Jamie.  You and I have been privileged to know two brothers that had kindness and charity in their hearts for everyone.  They of course learned this attribute from their parents.  
He will be missed and sharing in your sadness as we remember him. All my love, prayers and hugs. As he is at peace at this time, I pray for peace to be with you also and that you may feel your loving God's arm around you.

Robert, my wonderful friend.  When my time comes, let's do lunch again (many times).   I always admired how your heart was set on other people.  When others had a need, you were always there to help them, regardless of the time or day.  I know that Dexter will really miss you.  He will probably continue to wait by the door for you to come home to him.  But in the eternities, you can be together forever, with your wonderful family and many friends.  I'm sure that our Heavenly Father is very pleased with the Christ-like love you gave others, including in your service as an ordinance worker.  When we get together again, I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about and lots of laughs.

I don't have many friends, but Robert was definitely a friend. We knew each other since high school and talked often on the phone. Robert talked about his family and the many things he enjoyed doing for them.  A better man, you will never find, he was a Godley man who loved his God and worshiped often.
