Scott Brady Shelley, age 68, of Los Angeles, California passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, of congestive heart failure/cardiomyopathy. While he was with us, he lived life to its fullest. And now, his charm and love of all things are already being sorely missed. He had immense talent and loved his work in interior design (some homes he brought to fruition were featured in Architectural Digest). He had a knack for remembering each piece’s history, period, and use and, oh, he loved to shop and spend and treat others. Scott was born in Eugene, OR; traveled the world (including the Great Wall of China); worked on the West Coast (Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles); and visited the East Coast (loved New York).
He was predeceased by brother Hal Shelley-Tucson AZ, and parents Art & Madeline Shelley-Green Valley, AZ. He is survived by brother Rick Shelley (Judy)-Poynor, TX and sister Jan John (Lyle)-Salem, OR He is also survived by nephews Brian and Stephen John-OR; Mark Shelley-WA, Kyle Shelley-CO ; 11 great nieces/nephews, as well as long-time companion Leonard Scherer.
Due to travel difficulties, no services will be scheduled.
