Barb Carter Goulette

With great sadness we announced the death of Barbara Ann Carter Goulette who passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on March 16th, 2016. Born in Dalhousie on February 16, 1951, daughter of Lorraine Lapointe Carter and the late James Carter.

BARB worked as a RNA at the Dalhousie Nursing Home and was a big Volunteer for the Charlo and Dalhousie Minor Hockey. We would like to thank Dr. Robichaud and Dr. Hickey and the kidney dialysis team at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, NB

She is survived by her husband Ernest Goulette of Charlo NB, her 2 sons Stephen Goulette (Sonya Hynes) of Calgary AB, Scott Goulette (Tammy Godin) of Fredericton NB, her daughter Stacey Boudreau (Leonard) of Charlo NB, her grandsons Avery Goulette of Fredericton NB, Billy Boudreau (Renee Paquin) of Moncton NB, Mike Boudreau of Moncton NB, her granddaughter Audrey Goulette of Fredericton NB, her great-grandson Clark Boudreau of Moncton, NB and her great-granddaughter Destinee Boudreau of Moncton NB. She also survived by her mother Lorraine Lapointe Carter of Dalhousie NB, her brothers Bobby Carter (Wendy) of Charlo NB, Micheal Carter Chatham of Ontario, Paul Carter (Nadine Wagner) of Guelph Ontario, James Carter of Winnipeg Manitoba, Chase Carter of Edmonton Alberta, her sisters Lynda Carter Drapeau (Marc) of Tilsonburg Ontario, Shelley Carter Theriault (Robert) of Tilsonburg Ontario, Andrea Hachey of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Paula Leblanc of Fredericton NB, her nephews Jason Carter (Sandra) of Charlo NB, Adam Carter of Edmonton Alberta, Andrew Carter of Charlo NB, C. J. Hachey and Myles Allard of Calgary, AB, Justin Maclean of Chatham Ontario, her nieces Christa Carter of Dalhousie NB, Melissa Theriault (Adam Clarke) of Tilsonburg Ontario, Sarah Drapeau of Tilsonburg Ontario, Jossie Carter and Halla Wagner of Guelph Ontario. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Amy Dawn Goulette.

A funeral mass will be held at the St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie, Monday at 11:00 am. Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie, Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7:00 to 9:00.

Donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the donor's Choice would be appreciated by the family.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’Église St. Jean Bosco, Dalhousie, lundi à 11h00. Visite au Salon Funéraire Maher, 421 rue Victoria, Dalhousie, dimanche de 14h00 à 16h00 et de 19h00 à 21h00.

Des dons à la Fondation canadienne du rein ou à choix du donneur serait apprécié par la famille.
