Harold was born on May 25, 1937 in Woodstock, NB to the late Walter
Sewell and his wife Elizabeth.
Harold worked several years with his father Walter and uncle Ern on a potato farm in upper Woodstock, NB. Harold moved to Connecticut in the early 60’s. He worked as a Mason for 30 years. He became an antique dealer and refinished furniture. His hobbies were classic cars, collecting antiques. He loved spending time with his family and many friends.
He leaves his wife Shirley Sewell of Eel River Bar, NB. his brother Lawerance and his wife Delina and their two sons Jonathan Sewell and David Sewell (Jackie), his sister Marjorie Spinney of St. John, NB; He leaves his son Grover Sewell his wife Gail; two grandsons Dustin and Mitchell, and his great-Grandson Kingston: his daughter Judith Sewell- Jenkins of Deland, Fla; and his granddaughter Erin Jenkin of Windsor Locks, CT; his great grandchildren Hunter; Eva; Mya; Henley. his step-children Raymond Stebbins (Angie) Joseph Stebbins (Rena) Shirleyann Smith (Anthony) Shirley Nancy; Melvyn Stebbins (Louise) Melissa Moody (Mitch) their children Hailey; Mackenzey; Emma; Liam; Annabelle; and Aryanna. Will; Alyssa; Jonathan; Amanda; Dominic his grandchildren, and his great- grandchild Willie. He was also survived by three sisters-in-law; Diane, Marilyn and Carolann; three brothers-in-law; Kenneth, Raymond Jr and Johnny ‘Crow’. He was predeceased by his step grandchildren Robert Smith Jr. and Randy Arsenault and his step son Scott Stebbins.
Respecting the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
The family will welcome friends and family at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie on October 7 from 2pm to 4pm.
