Ivan Phillips

Born in Dalhousie on May 20, 1934, son of the late Henri Philippe and the late Victoria Philippe.

He worked at the paper mill in Dalhousie until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne Phillips; his son Ken (Denisa) Phillips of Dalhousie; four brothers, Jean-Paul (Theresa) Philippe of Dalhousie, Tim (Edwidge) Philippe of Dalhousie, Frank Phillips of Dalhousie, Joe Phillips of Dalhousie and three sisters, Geraldine Philippe of Dalhousie, Eulalie (Philippe) Arseneault of Dalhousie and Marie-Ange (Philippe) Mabie of British Columbia; his grandchildren, Philip, Patrick, Christopher and Krista; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Simonne Beaudry; three brothers, Edmond, Aimé, Clarence and his sister Ema.

Visitation at the Maher's Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie, on March 18 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
