She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Samantha Kosman (Jamie) her partner, Larry Petersen. Step-children, Denis; Natasha (Charlie); Alaina (Michel); and Melissa. She will also be missed by her many grand children, Sebastien, Austin, Kal-El, Zachary, Gabriel, Naiomi, Sabastian, Connor, Jill, John, Mimiges, Reece, Larry and her kitty Tyko. Sylvie also had many brothers and sisters.
Sylvie was a multi-talented wonder woman who effortlessly juggled crochet hooks, cooking utensils creating masterpieces for her family and friends. She always had new creations she loved to do that would challenge herself to grow her skills. Her passion of camping with her partner, feeding the squirrels, fishing, and sitting around the campfire stargazing and listening to Larry whistling with the birds.
Crochet was Sylvie’s superpower and if you were lucky enough to receive on of her blankets, you knew you had a special place in her heart for you. Her nimble fingers danced across the stitches, weaving magical tales with each row. We’re convinced that her crocheted masterpieces had secret powers that could warm our hearts and make us forget about the world’s troubles.
While Sylvie may have left this physical world, her legacy lives on through her crochet masterpieces, the lingering aroma of her mouth watering dishes, memories of camping, the love of a good thunderstorm and her love for her family.
Farewell Sylvie, Mom, Partner, Nanny, sister, niece, daughter and best friend. May your eternal journey be filled with endless skeins of yarn, kitchen overflowing with delicious treats and camp sites that offer breathtaking views. We love you and will cherish the memories forever.
