A native of Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Lester and Elaine Hinson Eason.
Ms. Eason earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a Master’s of Science Degree from UNCC.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaina Keener and husband Ralph of Gastonia; Cindy Schoenfeld and husband Michael of Belmont, Susan Slaton of Andover, New Jersey; sisters, Carol Friday, Doris Queen; brothers, Tom Eason, David Eason; sister-in-law, Regine Eason; grandchildren, Mark, Kevin and Adrienne Keener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Eason.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Dallas Funeral Home.
