Inez Johnson Sowell

Inez was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She will be remembered for her sweet smile and her inspiration to her family with her strong faith in God, her caring words and her positive outlook on life. She was also a longstanding member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas, NC.

Inez is survived by her children, Martha S. Keziah and husband, Mike of Lincolnton, NC, Jim Sowell and wife Vikki of Conover, NC, Bill Sowell and wife MeiLian of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Angie Rudisill and husband John, Samantha Revere and husband, Justin, Megan Gilbert and husband TJ, Josh Keziah, Zhang Tao, Wayne Hart and John Hart; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday at First United Methodist Church in Dallas. Rev. Caroll Flack will officiate. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday at Dallas Funeral Home, 212 W. Trade St., Dallas, NC.
