A native of York County, he was the son of the late Franklin and Ora Clinton.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Clinton; children, Melody Trotter and husband Mark, Judy Clinton, Tammie Matteri, and Christopher Clinton; sister, Joyce Short; and brother, Larry Clinton.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dallas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
