Phyllis Knight

Phyllis Ann Fazenbaker Knight, 84, of Dallas, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was born in Weehawken, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Curtis A. and Ethel Nielson Fazenbaker.

Mrs. Knight was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, Dallas.

Mrs. Knight is survived by one daughter, Laura Faulkner and husband Jimmy of Gaffney, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Cameron Maples and wife Leslie of Bessemer City, Keith Maples of Kings Mountain, Jesse Lee Knight and wife Kristen of Rock Hill, Daniel Paul Knight and wife Kandy of Gastonia; six great grandchildren, Keith Maples, Destiny Knight, Gage Knight, Danielle Knight, Austin White, Tyler Clayton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Dallas Funeral Home, 212 West Trade Street, Dallas.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Shaw officiating.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Jesse Willis Knight; son, Lee Willis Knight; infant daughter, Gail Lynn Knight; sister, Betty Thiel.
