William “Bill” Stuart Reece, Sr., 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Coalwood, West Virginia and is the son of Loretta Ferrante Reece and the late Clarence Reece.
Mr. Reece retired from General Tire Company, Charlotte.
Mr. Reece is survived by his wife of 40 years, Edna Totherow Reece; son, Chris Reece of Gastonia; mother, Loretta Reece of Coalwood, West Virginia; sister, Rose Marie Gibson of Coalwood, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Dallas Funeral Home, Dallas with the Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Dallas Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
Mr. Reece was preceded in death by his father; son, William Stuart Reece, Jr.; sister, Pamela Reece.
