

Albert was born September 13, 1931 in Meridian, MS to Albert, Sr. and Ola Mae James, and passed away January 3, 2015 in Dallas, TX.
Albert worked for DISD for 26 years, maintaining the heating and A/C systems. He will be remembered as an avid reader, well known to the librarians who would often hold books for him that they thought he would enjoy. He loved to start his day with his McDonald’s sausage biscuit and coffee while he read. He was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers (except when he wasn’t), and used to enjoy deer hunting.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Sue James; and his parents. He is survived by his sons, Jesse Tyrone James and wife Debbie, Michael James and wife Doris, and Douglas James and wife Annette; grandchildren, Misti Burrow and husband David, Brandi Milligan and husband Matt, Jay Clifton and wife, Susan, Jason Clifton, Zachary James and wife Aileen, and Tony James; great-grandchildren, Casey and Madison Burrow, Hayden Norman, Kinley Milligan, Haley, Callie, Justin, Jaron, and Olivia Clifton, and Makenzie James; sister, Claudette Clark; brother, Terry James and wife Carolyn; and many extended family members.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 8 at 10:00 AM, all at Grove Hill Funeral Home, and will be followed by Interment at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
