Mrs. Amanda Michelle (McDowell) Williams

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amanda Michelle Williams, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, who departed this life on October 15, 2025. She will be forever remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for family.

Born to Merdis McDowell and the late Melvin McDowell Jr., Amanda was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. As a loving wife to Brant Williams and mother to Tristian Jamal McDowell and Chalice Devon Williams, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and strength. Her nurturing spirit, steadfast faith, and gentle strength continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

Amanda’s kindness and compassion extended far beyond family, touching friends and the community alike. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and light wherever she went.

She is survived by her husband, Brant Williams; children, Tristian and Chalice; mother, Merdis McDowell; and sisters, Kemeka Lynette McDowell, Shalinda Liche McDowell, and Vanessa McDowell; and stepsister, Cynthia Finister. Also cherishing her memory are three nieces, two nephews, five great-nephews, and two great-nieces, each holding a special place in her heart.

A memorial service celebrating Amanda’s life will be held on October 30, 2025, at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park Chapel, 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232. Remembrance flowers may be sent to this address.
