

Anita Louise Bagnall, age 66, passed away on December 25, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 17, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Patricia and Al Bagnall. Anita was raised in HIghland Park. Anita graduated from Texas A&M Commerce. She always said that she got her AARP card and degree at the same time. She would go on to work in the optical industry for about over 30 years.
She married Rosi Criswell in 2013. Together they had 3 grown children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 delightful great-grandchildren. The last 20 years she worked with special needs adults as a teacher and as a job-coach.
In her spare time, Anita loved the WNBA and attended all twelve teams in their home stadium. She loved to dance, grill, and making new friends. She attended water aerobics and loved her water friends. She was incredibly involved with the Democratic party and belonged to the FEDDs and The White Rock and Lake Highlands Democrats.
Anita was a networker and served on the committee for the America Cancer Society Come Out Against Cancer Program. Anita attended the Cathedral of Hope and recently started a Women's Social Group.
Most of all, Anita loved her Rosi. She loved to travel, entertain, and spend time with her family and friends, and her fur babies, Nell and Olivia.
Anita will be remembered for her love of people and joy for life. Anita gave her time and smiles freely.
She is survived by her wife, Rosi Criswell; brother, Jamie Bagnall; sister-in-law, Kelly; her mother, Patricia Bagnall; niece, Riley; nephew, Austin; her adopted family, Jeff, Tim and Linda, Brad and Allison, Jeremy, Sam, Alex, Brett and Becca, Becca L., and Heather; and four great-grandchildren, Aria, Aiden, Walter, and Henry; as well as a multitude of friends, extended family, and family of choice.
