Heaven’s gain, our loss…I love you and I’ll miss you!  You had a beautiful smile and so many encouraging words and life stories.  You welcomed me into your family and loved me like one of your own.  Words cannot express the deep gratitude I feel for the opportunity God gave me to know you and share life with you.  Mom, you’ll always be in my heart! ❤️

Annie came into our lives when our son was born with multiple heart defects and was not allowed to go to daycare, and she answered an ad that I had put in the paper and took care of my son for two years. She absolutely saved our lives, and was such a happy, joyful, smart, loving person. We’ll never forget her- may her memory be a blessing.

In the few years I’ve known Boompa, she has been such a light in my day whenever I got the chance to visit her. I loved bringing her a fresh burger just how she liked it and sitting in the living room watching youtube videos on food tours, lawn mowing, or whatever she wanted. She was the funniest grandmother I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, so incredibly sweet and always reminded me to make sure I treated my mom with love and respect. Knowing how many lives she’s touched me raised with the never ending amount of love she had, makes me feel so incredibly lucky and blessed to have gotten to know her and her family.  I’m grateful to Olivia for welcoming me in their home with open arms.

When I became a hospice volunteer I never anticipated creating such meaningful relationships like the one I had with Anita. Anita always reminded me of the important things in life when I needed it most. She once told me to always tell your family you love them, even when you’re mad at each other -  something I think about every time my loved ones get on my nerves. Anita shared with me amazing stories and wisdom that I will never forget. I’m blessed to have gotten to spend time with her. Rest in peace, Anita.

I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Ramirez and all the family there aren’t enough pages to record them all. During my Junior and senior high years I felt like I was one of the family. Mrs. Ramirez always welcomed me with a smile and open arms. She was like my second mom. I dearly loved her and the entire family. 

She made the best tamales I have ever had. To this day there have been no equals! I loved every dish she ever fed me; except Menudo!

What a wonderful woman she was and will never be forgotten. God now has a new and wonderful angel!

We will miss your stories, your smile and your laughter.

I will always remember my Tia Annie for the laughter she brought into every room and the peace she carried in her heart. She inspired me to live life with more joy, and I’m forever grateful for the light she brought into my world. Her gentle wisdom and happy spirit will live on in my heart always.

Tia, you were the last link to my Ramirez-Pena grandparents. I loved getting to know you and visiting with you and celebrating your 100th birthday.    You will always be so special to me with your jokes and funny stories.  Praying for you and your family.

She was an amazing woman she treated me with so much love and wisdom. We didn’t know each other long but I was her caregiver and ended of becoming her add in grand baby.she taught me Spanish every day I learned a new word ( can’t say I remember them perfectly) but she was a big light in my life. She would ask bout my son my family and even would get things for them. My amazing lady was my rock at work when I was feeling overwhelmed I would just go to her room and just the sight of her would make me ball in to tears she was my blessing and a true grandmother to me. The talks we had will stay with me for a life time.she was not your normal 101 yrs old woman she hard a heart of gold a fist of a true warrior and a mindset of a queen who never let anyone tell her should couldn’t……ma you may be gone but you live thru so many of us and even saying all this it will never be half of the person you ARE to me…I love you my my queen my savor in so many ways and now one of my guardian angels ma I love you my Bonita woman

Tia,  you were one of a kind. Funny. I mean you always had a funny (dirty) joke and we loved them. We could sit for hours and just talk and eat. I loved you Tia and will always remember you and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Fly with the angels and now enjoy our heavenly family. Love you Tia. and Rest In Peace

Olivia and Jimmy,  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Annie made the world a better place with her laughter, her jokes, her love of God and of all of us who knew her.  She was a model to so many:  when I was little, she played Jax with me, hide-n-seek and other games.  We read early books together…..she loved that!  AND….she even wrote an autobiography.  I did read that and it told of the hard times she endured as a young girl. She was a wonderful mother, and a great friend.

I will always cherish our visits.  Tia loved telling you a good joke dirty or clean!  She loved hamburgers and her salsa.  When she was at Hollymead, I was able to pop in more often.  We would sit outside and talk and share lunch from MooYAH’s.  She would sit in the sun and I would sit in the shade. She loved the heat.   I will miss her so much but glad we had the last year together.  She is with her loved ones in heaven now. May she rest in peace.
