Ann Jacqueline Monier McDowell

The Lord blessed Henry and Ann Monier with one child, their precious daughter, Jackie. Her adoring parents fed her soul, raising her with a strong unfaltering Catholic faith. She attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas. She was a beloved wife and mother with a passion for life! She loved dancing, cooking, gardening, animals, the outdoors, walking, and world travel. Jackie owned and operated West End Travel, which fed her addiction to travel and see the world! Without question, Jackie’s biggest passion, the love of her life, was her seven children. Jackie loved and cherished her extended family and friends, always ready with a smile, hug and kiss to brighten the day of everyone she met. Loving Jackie was food for our souls!

Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her six surviving children, Victor Gallerano (Louise Sperling), Joseph Gallerano, Jacob Gallerano, Michelle (Kurt) Brown, Patrick McDowell and Heather (Chris) Hibbs.

Jackie will also be remembered by her thirteen adoring grandchildren, Joseph (Carah) Gallerano, Dominic (Jessica) Gallerano, Samuel Gallerano, Christopher Gallerano (Christina Lind), Claire (Dan) Venard, Kate (David) Reynolds, Anne Gallerano, Erin (Matthew) Simpson, Amanda Brown, Shelby Brown, Kristen Palacios, Courtney McDowell and Ethan McDowell.

Jackie was blessed with fourteen amazing great grandchildren, Damian, William, Riley, James, Ruby, Charlie, Max, Sawyer, Hunter, Madison, Olivia, Aiden, Benson, Kason and by her amazing extended family and dear friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her son Charles Courtney “Korky” McDowell and her husband Paul W. Leech.

A Rosary will be celebrated in memory of Jackie on Friday, February 7, at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 6 p.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 1404 Old Gate Lane, Dallas Texas 75218. Reception immediately following.

Graveside Service and Inurnment will be on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
