Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Edwin Charles Slattery and daughter, Nancy Jane Schieferstein. She is survived by her son, Mike Slattery and wife Debbie; her daughter, Susan Whitley and husband Bryan. Grandchildren, Chuck , Rebecca, Elaine, Mark, Josh, several great-children and many dear friends . Known to family and friends as TuTu, she touched many lives. A Dallas native, graduated Crozier Tech High School, married and raised family primarily in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas. Family activities and travel were her favorite past-times. A member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, her wit and kindness will be missed by all. May she rest in peace. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, 11-22-10 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, 11-23-10 at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
