Arleen Joanne Thieme

Arleen J. Thieme, 68, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2019. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 2, 1950. Arleen Flaschner graduated from Waller High School in Chicago. She married Donald R. Thieme on October 22, 1982. Arleen "Flash" worked as a technician for AT&T. She was a member of the VFW Post 6796 - Past Aux. Pres. Patriotic Instructor (Outdoor Women). She had a passion for fishing, and traveling both domestic and internationally. She is survived by her husband, Donald Thieme; step-children, Lydia Thieme and David Thieme; step-grandchildren, Simon Thieme and Everett Thieme; and sister, Annette Flaschner. She is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Flaschner.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at a future date at the VFW Post 6796.
