Mr. Aubrey worked as a Platemaker for 30 years at Millet the Printer in Dallas. He was also a cattle rancher and Charter Member of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
Born December 28, 1934 in Nacogdoches County TX, he would have celebrated his 86th birthday this year. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bea, his parents, brother and sisters.
He is survived by several nephews and nieces, and by his many friends at the Open Range Cowboy Church and the Country Club Retirement Center.
Mr. Aubrey loved visiting with friends, talking about the "good 'ol days" of ranching and gardening, and about his beloved dog, Pepper. He especially liked conversations about horses. His cattle ranch was in Kaufman County TX and he loved working the cattle on horseback -- Appaloosa being his favorite breed.
As he grew closer to God in his later years, Mr. Aubrey made notes from devotionals and Bible studies. He posted his seven most important notes on his bulletin board.
