Joan will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and a trusted friend. She is survived by her brothers Frank Turner and Joey Turner, her sister Mary Baty and her daughter, Michelle Morris and two grandsons, Austin and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Turner and Marguerite Turner, her husband Richard “ Dick” Morris Sr. and her son, Richard Morris Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
