Barbara Ann Pearce, age 93, of Garland, Texas passed away at Silver Creek Assisted Living Garland peacefully on January 21, 2025 from complications of Alzheimer’s. She was born on November 26, 1931 to William Frank Butler and Dorothy Lea Collins Butler in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Crozier Tech now known as Dallas High School, Dallas, Texas in 1949 where she was a cheerleader. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Joe Little Pearce on December 31, 1949. They lived in Dallas where they started their family. Her family belonged to Eastridge Park Christian Church in Mesquite, Texas. After the kids were grown, Barbara assisted her husband Joe with his State Farm Insurance Agency that was in business for over 50 years in Casa Linda Plaza in Dallas. Barbara is survived by her three children: Randy Pearce and wife Shelley of Garland, Texas, Teri Pearce and husband, Dr. Kenneth Cantrell of Gunnison, CO and Gary Pearce and wife Deanna of Rowlett, Texas. Barbara is also survived by her two grandchildren, Lindsay Rees and husband, Kyle of McKinney, Texas and Parker Pearce of Allen, Texas. Barbara was also the proud great grandmother of Kyndall Rees. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pearce and her parents, William Frank and Dorothy Butler. Her family would like to thank all the staff at Silver Creek Assisted Living Garland for their loving care and her hospice team at All Star Hospice.
