Sewall, Barbara Hudel, went home to be with Jesus Monday evening, after a short illness. Known by friends and family as “ Bobbie", she was a gentle and sweet person always more interested in the interests of others than herself, She was born in Dallas in 1935 and attended North Dallas High School. She had a degree in Geology from SMU and worked for several oil companies in Dallas. She married Edwin Sewall in 1960 and they enjoyed a wonderful and Godly marriage for over 61 years. She was a faithful member of Reinhardt Bible Church and Redeemer Bible Church for over 60 years.
Bobbie had a lifelong love for the Order of Rainbow for Girls and was active in supporting that organization for her entire life and she was loved by all who knew her, young girls and adults alike. Earlier in life, she was elected to be the statewide Grand Worthy Adviser of the organization.
She was one of four children of Ernest and Marcella Hudel: Betty, Patricia, Skippy and Bobbie. She will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege to know and love her gentle quiet spirit.
