Bertha Lee Taylor Plunk

Bertha (Beth) Lee Taylor Plunk was born in Emory, Texas on April 19, 1918 to Jake and Maude Taylor. She lived a long blessed life and passed peacefully with family by her side on January 21, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin and by one son, Jerry Len.

She was a lover of life and treasured her family and friends. Her home was always warm and loving. She was an inspiration to us all.

Survivors include one son, Mell R. Plunk and his wife, Suzie of Belton, Tx; one daughter, Jan Stonestreet and her husband Terry, Royse City, Tx; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Plunk of Edgewood, Tx. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service is 12:00 noon, Monday, January 24, 2011 in the main chapel at GROVE HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3920 Samuell Blvd., (from I30, exit Ferguson Road) Dallas, Texas (214-388-8887). Rev. Mell R. Plunk, and Dr. Richard E. Plunk, officiating. Interment, Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
