She was proceeded in death by her husband Jax Baird, parents Edward and Mildred Bergman (Slim & Mid) and niece Katy Rengstorff.
She is survived by son Scott Cady of Dallas, daughter Karen McGee of Forney, daughter and son in-law Leslie and Rod Jacob of Red Oak. She has six grandchildren- Brittany Cady, Katie Jacob, ReAnna Jacob, Mihaela McGee, Ian Kelly and Emmy Cady. She has two greatgrandchildren Briley Cady and Miles Schroeder. She is also survived by her sister and brother in law Annette and Tom Rengstorff of Midlothian, cousin Janet Maloney of Richardson, nephew Brad Rengstorff of Arlington and niece Julie Hunter and family of Midlothian.
She was an avid reader which included a book on every U.S. President in chronological order. She also read every Pulitzer Prize winning novel. She loved working crossword puzzles and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles with her grandkids.
She grew up in Oak Cliff, Texas and graduated Sunset High School. She was a resident at St. Joseph’s Assisted living, where she attended Rosary and Mass on a daily basis.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00pm on March 27th at Laurel Land, 6300 South RL Thornton Frwy. Dallas, TX 75232
