Billy (Bill) James Taylor, beloved Father and Grandfather, passed away on April 3, 2012. Bill was born to James and Mabel Taylor in Itasca, Texas on September 1, 1927. Bill was a veteran in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Taylor was a mechanic for Braniff Airlines and retired after twenty years in 1982. He was an avid golfer and a “Hole in One” allowed him to win a golf tournament that he had entered. Mr. Taylor is survived by his son Mike Taylor and his wife Cindy, daughter Laura Corzine and her husband Mark; 5 grandchildren Michelle, Mollie and Kyle Taylor, Hank and Olivia Corzine. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7th at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will begin at 12 noon following the visitation with Dr. Michael Waco officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Mark Corzine, Hank Corzine and Clyde Stickels.
