

Billy Keith Walker of Dallas, Texas passed away surrounded by family on August 16, 2025. He was 95 years old. Bill was born to William Ethan Walker and Lenora Holland Walker on April 8, 1930 in Eustace, Texas. He was raised in Eustace and attended Eustace High School where he played sports and was the senior class president. Following high school, he attended East Texas State College in Commerce where he earned a bachelor's and a master's degree. He fulfilled his military service in the Naval Reserve, serving two years at the U.S. Naval Air Station Dallas Texas.
He married Judith Babington in 1961 and together they raised two daughters, Sally and Susan. He became an educator in Dallas ISD, teaching his entire career in the Pleasant Grove area. In the summers he worked for Dallas Park and Recreation. Following his retirement from teaching, he owned and operated a donut shop in Rockwall, Texas. He was an excellent cook for his family, known for his fried chicken and especially, banana pudding- which his grandchildren eagerly anticipated at every visit.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judith Walker; his daughters, Sally Walker Seelig (Steven) and Susan Walker Shivers; eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 13, 2025 at 10 am at Grove Hill Funeral Home located at 3920 Samuell Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75228. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
