Billy Joe Weiser, born March 14, 1929 in Mexia, Texas to Frank and Rosa Weiser, and passed away on April 18, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Owner of a legendary Dallas Restaurant Jay’s Marine Grill for 27 years. Veteran of Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force. His hobbies included fishing at his lake house and hunting with friends. He was also a great dancer, gentleman and last of the good guys’. He was loved dearly. Preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Weiser, infant son, Wendel Joe Weiser and close companion, Charlotte Persons. Survived by his children, Lynda Weiser Slevin, Carol Perkinson and husband Hunter Perkinson, Jr., and Rosanna Weiser Edwards and husband Marty Edwards; sister, Anna Mae Jannetti, brother, Hans “Buddy” Weiser; grandchildren, Stacey Slevin, Erica Schoolfield, Hunter Perkinson, III, Hayley Perkinson, Chase Edwards and Ryan Edwards; one great grandson, Jaydon Huckaby; 8 nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends.
