Bobbie Jo Harris, born on May 11, 1934, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 91. Residing in Dallas, Texas, Bobbie Jo was a hard-working, religious, and cherished individual who left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
In her early life, Bobbie Jo married twice and was the devoted mother of five children. She dedicated 30 years of her life working at the VA hospital, where her hard work and commitment were greatly valued. Bobbie Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Albert Williams and Minor Lena Williams, her son Fred Harris, her daughters LaRene Harris and Tondalaya Sims, and her grandson Donyell Snoddy.
Bobbie Jo leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by her daughter, Princess Harris, and five grandchildren: Anthony Neal, Monique Schexnayder, Therrian Allen, Dayron King, and Yamorra Sims. Her memory will continue to be treasured by her family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park, located at 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232, on November 24, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at the same venue on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
