

After moving to Dallas with his family, he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He attended SMU and earned degrees in Accounting and Law. Mr. Berry practiced law in Dallas for over 50 years. In 1985 he became a partner in law office building with three friends; Jim Brown, Mike Berkley and Tom Briggs (deceased) and has maintained the proud Partnership until his death.
He also briefly played semi-pro baseball and continued to love the game throughout his life.
Burt and Barbara were members of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years, where he served as a deacon.
Burt was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers John, Randal, and Herschel. He is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Keenan Berry; nephew, Bill Berry; nieces, Elaine Wredberg, Linda Harrott and Pat Brooker.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to his faithful caregivers, April Diaz, Cynthia Winston, Shenequa Johnson, Louise Ferron and VNA Hospice for their loving care.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 26, at 2:00pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with viewing one hour prior to service.
Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Brown, Mike Berkley, Kenny Stephens, Bill Berry, Trey Wredberg and Bryan Bird.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be to a charity of your choice in his memory.
