WALKER, C. Ray, 81, passed peacefully at his Dallas home on July 1st. Preceded in death by his father, L.S. "Boots" Walker, his mother, Catherine "Honey" Walker and his older brother Jack, all of Jefferson, TX.
Ray was born and raised in Jefferson, TX, where he loved working on his truck and tractor on the family farm. Ray graduated from Texas A & M University as a mechanical engineer, class of 1959. He remained a loyal Aggie and loved watching Texas A & M football. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. Ray retired from Rockwell International. After retirement, Ray and Carolyn enjoyed traveling on trips across the globe.
Survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Foust-Walker, Brother, Tom Walker, Sisters, Linda Gail Smiley and Donna Schultz. He is also survived by nephew, Larry Wayne Schultz, nieces, Pamela Smiley Parker, Dana Smiley Clager (husband David) and his great niece Zoe Elizabeth Clager.
Visitation 4pm-7pm, Friday, July 5th at Sparkman- Hillcrest, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas. Funeral Services will be held at Haggard Funeral Home, 203 E Clarksville St, Jefferson, TX 75657. Sunday, July 7th, Visitation 1pm-2pm, Service and Burial at 2pm.
