Candelaria G Rios

Cande was born in Waco, Texas on February 2, 1929 to Jose and Manuela Gutierrez. She is survived by her sons, Robert Rios (Dolores), Ruben Rios (Mary) and daughters Maria Gloria Bear, Rosemary Miramontes; grandchildren, Gracie Bear, Tony Rios (Mandy), Nina Miramontes, Michael Hernadez (Bernadette), Nick Miramontes, Andrew Rios, Alexander Rios; great grandchildren, Serena Hernandez, Evan Hernandez, Gabrielle Vasquez-Badillo and Zavier Miramontes.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roberto Rios, her son Richard, her son-n-law Frank Miramontes, her grandsons Armando Bear, Jr & Franco Miramontes. Cande was the last survivor of all her siblings Carmen Alvarado, Sara Rodriguez, Josefina Puente, Ruben Gutierrez, Esperanza Cortez, and Eloisa Sanchez.

She was full of life, loved to dance, have fun and loved being social with everyone. Spoke her mind and was funny. Her favorite pastime was to cook for her family, however she always made enough to feed an Army, so most of the neighbors enjoyed her food too! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace!

Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3225 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, Tx. 75220

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Calvary Hill North Chapel, 3225 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, Tx. 75220

Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
