

Carl is survived by his wife, Roberta Bowhay; his sons Carl Bowhay and wife Luna, Christoper Bowhay and wife Nataliia, his daughter Heidi Drajida and her husband Angelo, and stepson William Stout and his wife Ashley; his brother Royal Bowhay and wife Fran; he has 11 grandchildren, Chasen Bowhay, Jacob Bowhay, Lexi Forrest, Chandler Bowhay, Tristan Bowhay, Andrea Stoltzfus, Logan Heidt, Tyler Stout, Jessica Stout, Autumn Taylor, and Kaylie Tennes; and 6 great grandchildren.
He graduated college from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Bachelor of General Studies in 1972. His concentration was in Economics and Banking and Finance.
Carl enlisted in the U.S Air Force in 1955 and served for 22 years. He retired with an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Major. In civilian life he worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas, and Raytheon Systems in McKinney, Texas, for a total of 23 years.
Carl’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and country western music and dancing. He was a kind, gentle and generous man of faith, a wonderful and loving husband, a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He has left many great memories for his family to share.
An inurnment for Carl will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
