I'll never forget all the good times on Winter Park. The laughs, the golf, the smoked turkeys, the house parties, all of it and somehow I'm sure we'll be seeing you again but for now we all miss you man, R.I.P.

Carl Nase was my father. I was his oldest son. I didn't know him well, but what I do know about him is that he lived a very fulfilling life, and had overcome  many obstacles that most people would've just gave up on.  My dad is great man, and will always be remembered.

I have not written until now because I did not what to say, but I will say this Carl you were and will always be my friend, you and Kristen took me in at a very difficult time in and my life and I always be thankful for that. I know I will see you again and play golf again in the clouds. I miss you buddy, Carl you take uP there and don't forget us down here. See you again soon Your friend... Brad

The picture of Carl on this golf course looks like heaven. Everything I see in pictures and everything I hear about tell me Carl enjoyed life to the fullest.

Carl will be remembered as a great guy who also achieved success in many areas.

I'm go sorry to hear about Carls passing.  The photos were great to watch, lots of memories back in the days on Franklin Street and seeing all that he did after MilHi.  My thoughts are with the Nase family.

Carl and I shared many exploits together during our years at Milwaukie High School and beyond.  One of the few people I know that I would call a true friend, with a good heart and always a philosophical take on life that I appreciate to this day.  The fact that Carl has touched so many lives in his new home in Texas is a testament to the man that he was.  Thanks for the photo montage, regrets to all of his family.  Love you, Carl.

What a great and loving person Carl was. Although I only knew him for a short while, he opened his heart, his arms, and his home to me. I will be forever grateful that I had the chance to know him. God blessed him, and kept him, God made His face shine down upon him, He lifted up His countenance upon him, and gave him His peace!  Amen

Those of us who had an opportunity to work with Carl were truly blessed.  He was a man of compassion and integrity.  Most of all, he was a friend who will be missed.

Carl was such a wonderful man.  Full of character, integrity; hard working; such a gracious host and a wonderful cook!  His smile alone could warm your heart.  He was unfeigned, spirited and such a great friend to those he cared about.  Carl will be truly missed.
Kristen I hope keeping the the love Carl had for you and all the wonderful memories of him in your heart, will help make some of the difficult times a little easier.  You have a great support system so remember when life is too arduous turn to those that love and care about you to remind you that your soul is so full of felicity. You are an amazing women.

Carl was such a great all around guy.  He was smart, fun, caring and easy going.  He was the man to call for advice in business, the one to call when you're ready to have fun, or just want someone to talk to.  Our world will be a far poorer place for his passing.

I was also fortunate to have known Carl and to work with him. May we all find peace and confort in knowing that his loss is felt ay all who knew and loved him.

To Kristin, the extended Nase family near and far, friends and co-workers, it comes with extreme difficulty to express thoughts on Carl's passing.  He was a true friend who cared about the people in his life.  He was generous with his time to help and always had a positive outlook.  We will all miss his smile, dry witty sense of humor and his grilling expertise.  I have enjoyed many games of golf with Carl and he loved to play---on the course of life Carl was the best partner to have.  Hit them straight Carl you are just making the turn.  God Bless.

Losing Carl was like losing my blood brother.  He was always poking at me and sending me email thinking he would get my goat!  I would try and have as witty a reply back to him as he would send to me but I could never quite match him on that!  He gave me a plant from his house he was selling that he had with him for several years....it was rather sad looking and he could not bring it over to Kristin's when they combined households so I took pity on the poor little Chefalera plant and nursed it to health.  Its in my master bedroom now; very full and green.  I call my lovely plant "Carl" and talk to him every day.  I know he would be so thrilled my cats sit under it like its a tree.  They must know its Carl strong and sturdy still protecting and looking over all the ones he loved...even my cats!

The one I could always count on and trust!

To all of Carl's friends and family in the great Northwest...His friends in Dallas-Ft. Worth only got to know him for the last 8 years or so, but the time we did get to spend with him was special. He was caring, giving and just a heck of a guy.
We spent a lot of time on the golf course together.
To Kristin...he was a great neighbor and friend....He will be missed by us all.

I did not have the opportunity to know Carl but I know the people who loved him and raised him so he had to be an exceptional person.  I was with his mother when she got the news so all my prayers for strength to Margie, Kristin, David, Melissa, and his children.
