Carolyn Ann Murphy

Carolyn Ann Rogers Murphy was born on October 18, 1945, and went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She fought a long, hard battle with dementia for many years that she finally succumbed to. She was loved immensely and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Opal Rogers; her brother, Kenneth; her step-daughter, Michelle; and leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, faith and love.

Carolyn is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Bob Murphy; her daughter, Dianne (husband Brian & their sons, Blake and Brent); her son, David (wife Gloria, and David’s son, Stephen); her step-son, Robert (wife Denise & their sons, Wes and Jordan); her step-daughter, Melinda (husband Joe and Melinda’s son, Justin); her step-daughter, Michelle (her children, Mistiann and Hayden); her step-son, Russell (wife Debbie and their son, Larry); and her step-daughter, Melissa (her son, Austin). She was also blessed with many step-great-grandchildren as well. She deeply loved every member of her family.

Carolyn was born in Temple, Texas then later moved and grew up in Oak Cliff, TX, where she graduated from Sunset High School.

Carolyn will be remembered not only for her love for being around family and friends, but for her kindness, compassion, and genuine love for everyone she met. Her legacy of love, faith, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A funeral service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, located at 6300 South R.L., Dallas, TX 75232, on December 29, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Following the funeral, a committal service will take place at Laurel Land Memorial Park - Dallas, located at 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
