Cecilia Jimenez, 77, entered eternal life on August 11, 2013 in Dallas, TX. She was born on November 22, 1935 to Pedro & Pasquala Martinez. Cecilia married her love, Raymond Jimenez on October 6, 1953 and together they had 5 children. Along with loving her family, Cecilia loved her plants, flowers, gardening and all kinds of sweets. She will be especially remembered for being very friendly and always giving her special smile to everyone she met. Cecilia was full of life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is preceeded in death by her husband; daughter, Jacqueline Jimenez; son, Daniel Jimenez and sister, Lupe Ojeda. Survivors for Cecilia are daughter, Virginia Juarez; sons, Chris Jimenez and Russell Jimenez, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers include, Daniel and Chris Jimenez, Daniel Jimenez, Jr., Brian Rosales, Steven Ojeda and Joey Juarez. The family will accept visitors on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 5 pm – 8 pm and a Rosary will be recited at 6 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass in her honor will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A reception will follow at the home of Virginia Juarez 1410 Flintwood Dr. Richardson, TX 75081.
