Charles Michael Moore was born February 14th, 1989 to Charles and Cynthia Moore in Dallas, TX. Raised in Lake Highlands, Charlie attended St. Patrick Catholic School and Church where he was an altar server. He graduated high school from Dallas Academy in 2007.
As a young man Charlie discovered purpose in music, revealing an uncanny natural ability as a guitarist. Without any formal training Charlie possessed an innate depth of understanding to musical structure and could perfectly tune his guitar by ear. Sharing his talent with the family provided Charlie immense self-confidence and pride.
Charlie found a career as a chef. His culinary adventure began at a cozy breakfast diner and he steadily worked his way up in kitchens all over the city. Charlie took great care with the product and experience at every establishment he supported and demonstrated exceptional culinary ability. Ultimately, Charlie fed thousands during his time with us leaving each with a satisfied smile.
Charlie endured a lifelong struggle with severe anxiety and depression contributing to the development of a fatal alcohol addiction. He succumbed to injuries related to his addiction on November 25th, 2025 at the age of 36.
Charlie is survived by his parents Charles and Cynthia of Pilot Point, TX, sister Sarah Murphy of Prosper, TX, brother Benjamin Moore of Cincinnati, OH. The family is truly grateful to all who prayed for Charlie and tried to help him over the years.
