

Mrs. Clara Lucille Morgan-Akins received her heavenly angel wings to fly in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Fort Worth, TX at the age of 86. She was born Clara L. Marshall, by Big Momma a midwife on March 6, 1934 in Medon, TN. Clara was the daughter of the late Minister James Marshall and Roseanne (Lee) Smith-Marshall, which preceded her in death. Clara graduated at Denmark High School in 1953 in Denmark, TN. Clara united in marriage to Joseph L. Morgan on September 1, 1957. During this union, they built a life; bonding a beautiful family of 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls in Saginaw, Michigan.
Clara accepted Christ and baptism at 8 years old and received her spiritual gifts at 14 years during service at Marshall Chapel Church built by her family. The biblical meaning of Clara is “Clear, Bright and/or Famous”, which describes her spirit.
Clara was a member of Grace Chapel Church in Saginaw, MI for several years. She later moved to Seattle, WA and was a devoted member of Into His Chamber Global Ministries. She truly loved being in the House of Lord and enjoyed the powerful teaching from Apostle Helen Saddler. Clara had a servant heart, serving as the Mother of her church, Choir Member, Prayer Warrior & Intercessor. Clara later moved to Fort Worth in 2011 where she resided. She was a faithful member at Koinonia Church in Arlington, TX under the leadership of Pastor Ronnie Goines.
Clara leaves a Legacy of Wealth, Love, and Memories, of Impartations to her Royal family who was cherished. Shortly before her passing, Clara laid hands on every firstborn and gave her blessing for a double portion over their lives. She transfer the Legacy to her 4 Daughters, Jo Ann Bowman of Las Vegas, NV; Linda (Herman) Perkins of Seattle, WA; Marilyn (Lawrence) Jones of Fort Worth, TX; Lucilla Marie Morgan of Arlington, TX; 2 Sons William (Cottawanna); Thomas Morgan all of Saginaw, MI. Mrs. Akins also leaves 27 Grandchildren; 72 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great children. She also leaves one Sister, Willie Mae Smith of St. Louis, MO; and special cousin Sadie Gregory, Medon, TN; 3 Sister-In Laws; 2 Brother In-Laws who all reside in Michigan. Mrs. Akins was preceded in death by husband Joseph Lester Morgan-Akins; Son Jerry Morgan; Grandsons Jerry Morgan II, De’ Marcus Presley, Percy Thomas III, Great grandchild, Jaidyn Thomas; Daughter-law Tammy Morgan; Son-law Derrick Bowman; 4 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 Sister-In Law parents & many other relatives.
